The current legal framework of the Russian-Belizean cooperation includes the following bilateral documents:
– Agreement between the Federal Financial Monitoring Service (Russian Federation) and the Financial Intelligence Unit (Belize) concerning Cooperation in the sphere of Counteracting Legalization (Laundering) of Proceeds from Crime, and Financing of Terrorism, signed on July 11, 2012;
– Protocol on Political Consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belize, signed on September 21, 2017;
– Treaty on Basic Relations between the Russian Federation and Belize, signed on September 25, 2018;
– Agreement on Cooperation between the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation and the Attorney General's Ministry of Belize, signed on May 13, 2021.
